The Bone and Joint Decade
The goal for the Bone and Joint Decade is to improve the health-related
quality of life for people with musculo-skeletal disorders throughout
the world.
|
The Bone and Joint Decade (2000 - 2010) is an international campaign
endorsed by the United Nations and over 400 musculoskeletal organisations
throughout the world and is represented in Australia by a steering committee,
headed by Professor Peter Brooks, at the University Queensland. Associate
Professor Ghosh is a member of the steering committee and Professor Sambrook
and Associate Professor Lyn March, members of the NSW committee.
IBJ plans to work closely with the Australian Bone and Joint Decade steering
committee to forward their objectives. Further information on the aims
and objectives of the BJD can
be obtained from the bone
and joint decade website.
